This is The Last Chance

This film is a representation of a psychological horror, of Jesse‘s mental state due to not being able to move forward from her ex-girlfriend’s mental decline and being manipulated by Dahlia into being together forever. To the point, she ends her own life, making sense of not being able to move forward, and Jesse confesses her love towards the person she has feelings for Rose. With this mental struggle, the ex-girlfriend's soul, Dahlia, comes back to life within Jesse's subconscious, trying to prevent Jesse from being with another person.

What I Delivered in the Production

Director

Organizing/ bring a psychological horror to life while underbudget. Creating necessary scenes to make film narrative to media and direct necessary. I also visualize every scene necessary under 2 hours for a singular day production.

Scriptwriter

Creating a script with limited conversation elements to make a mostly silent film.  Bringing different plots to make the plot easy to understand but bring a sense of mystery behind the characters.

Costume and SFX

Bring every costume decision to bring stereotypes to life to make the film easier to follow. For Practical Effects I used items in everyday item such as napkin, tacky glue foundation and fake blood to make the effect as realistic as possible to bring that sense self-inflicted wound.

I focus to make the environment and scene to be intimidating but also mysterious in the world of the film. With the world being in a raining setting the audio bring in this scene of dread and despair when following Jessie. The audio signifying the representation of her mental state.
