When I first saw this image, I thought of how beautiful and colorful it was. An aurora borealis usually consists of colors similar to azure, royal blue, cyan, forest green, Violet, and, in rare cases, chartreuse. This image has all of the colors of the rainbow and speaks to me with its use of natural twilight beauty. This made me think about how it can connect to me personally, and all I can think of is how it represents my emotions during the quarters having both positive and negative views, thoughts, and overall mental state. As for the tree in the photo, it’s just there living its life, doing the same daily routine as a human. For me, I went to classes, listened, wrote notes, did homework, read, worked 5-hour shifts, and more.  This is more of a shell of who and what I do to achieve for a brighter day; thus, the light shown in the river and the ground reminds us of what’s keeping us going: fun activities, family interactions, and more.
